GTA business owners provide online video tips for going green
greenTbiz program a practical way to become eco-friendly, save money

(Toronto ON – April 1, 2008)  Everyone is trying to reduce their ecological footprint these days, and there are many ways to do it.

Knowing where to start isn’t easy.  But local businesses can begin with greenTbiz Smart Mentors

Smart Mentors are business owners who have embraced environmentally friendly business practices, and are encouraging others do the same.  These companies demonstrate that going green can be as good for your business as it is for the environment.

Interested business owners can view video testimonials from some of our Smart Mentors on our website (www.greentbiz.org).  Hear why they decided to go green, what changes they made and how greenTbiz helped.

Smart Mentors come from a wide variety of business sectors, including food services, retail and personal care.  By taking some basic steps towards energy efficiency, each one was able to green their operations and save money.

For anyone considering greening their business, greenTbiz offers the greenAssist program.  greenAssist  provides advice and strategies for making environmentally friendly business decisions.  In its first year of operation, the program has already assisted over 150 businesses in the GTA.

Contact greenTbiz for a one-on-one consultation.  We can assess your business, and tell you how to make it more eco-friendly.

Details on Smart Mentoring and greenAssist are available at www.greentbiz.org.
