Reid’s Heritage Homes celebrates completion of inaugural Net Zero Energy home in national demonstration project
Thursday, September 3rd 2015 9:58:12am
For Release: IMMEDIATELY
Location: Guelph, Ontario
Reid’s Heritage Homes invites members of the media to Guelph for the inaugural ribbon cutting event for a national demonstration project that will almost double the amount of Net Zero Energy homes in Canada.
The event will feature a tour of the recently completed house--the first of five that Reid’s Heritage Homes has built for the project--where visitors will get a first-hand view of the Net Zero Energy home’s features.
The project, in collaboration with Owens Corning Canada, aims to prove that Net Zero Energy homes can be built across Canada on a community-level scale. Net Zero homes produce at least as much energy as they consume.
