MFTIP workshop at Kew Beach United Church to help local residents reduce property taxes and reap financial benefits of managed woodlots

(Toronto, ON) The Ontario Forestry Association is hosting a free woodlot management workshop at the Kew Beach United Church. This is one of two final workshops of the 2006 province-wide, 15-location tour that has already been attended by over 600 people.
The free workshop at the Kew Beach United Church on November 9th from 6:00 to 8:00pm will show you how to apply for tax relief under MFTIP, set objectives for your property, prepare a forest stewardship plan and identify local resources to assist you in achieving your management goals. This workshop is sponsored by the Trees Ontario Foundation. Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended.
