Ontario Nature Celebrates 75 Years!

Join us to celebrate 75 years of protecting nature in Ontario!
(Toronto, Ontario) Politicians, friends and colleagues will celebrate Ontario Nature's 75th anniversary at the Royal Ontario Museum on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 from 7:00 to 10:00pm. The evening will feature live entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, and a plaque presentation to four clubs who founded Ontario Nature.
This will be an evening to thank all of our members, supporters and partners for sharing our commitment to protect nature in Ontario. We look forward to celebrating accomplishments and sharing our vision for the future with you at this special gathering.
The following individuals will be speaking at the event (8:00 - 8:45 pm):
David Ramsay - MPP Timiskaming-Cochrane
Minister of Natural Resources, Minister Responsible for Aboriginal Affairs
Jim Bradley - MPP St. Catharines
Minister of Tourism (with responsibilities for the Greenbelt Foundation and the Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation)
Minister Responsible for Seniors, Government House Leader
We will be honouring four of Ontario Nature's Founding Clubs: Brodie Club, Hamilton Naturalists' Club, McIlwraith Field Naturalists of London Inc., Toronto Field Naturalists and the province's oldest naturalist club, the Ottawa Field Naturalists.
