Conservation Fund one year anniversary forum
WHERE:
Great Hall, 1087 Queen Street West, Toronto
WHEN:
Thursday, November 16th, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00pm
Select representatives from organizations and trade associations who received Conservation Fund monies will gather to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Ontario Power Authority's Conservation Fund and review the successes of each project.
The following 5 groups will present case studies between 5:30 and 6:30pm:
o Ontario Forest Industries Association
o Wine Council of Ontario
o Energy Efficient Contractors Network
o Ontario Convenience Stores Association
o Energy Star for New Homes
The following individuals will be speaking at the event:
Peter Love, Ontario's Chief Energy Conservation Officer (5:05pm)
Kevin Flynn, MPP Oakville, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Energy (5:15 pm)
Bryan Young, Manager, Conservation and Technology Development Funds (5:25 pm)
Paul Shervill, Vice President of Program Operations and Sector Development, Ontario Power Authority (master of ceremonies)

The Conservation Bureau was established in 2005 to develop, coordinate, and stimulate electricity conservation and demand management programs and initiatives across the province. It is a division of the Ontario Power Authority, a statutory, not-for-profit corporation governed by an independent board of directors. It has responsibilities in four areas: Conservation, Power system Planning, Generation Development and Electricity Sector Development.
