Kawartha Lakes woodlot management workshop helps local residents apply for property tax relief
(Bobcaygeon, ON) The Ontario Forestry Association and the Trees Ontario Foundation are presenting a free woodlot management workshop at the Bobcaygeon Community Centre in Bobcaygeon on Monday, August 20, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Landowners with over 10 acres of forest will find out how to apply for property tax relief up to 75% under the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program, set objectives for their property, prepare a forest stewardship plan and identify local resources to assist in achieving their management goals.
This workshop is hosted by the Victoria Land & Water Stewardship Council. Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended.
